Dr Hou Tram (MD, FRACGP, DCH)

Independent GP

Hou was previously working down in the Plains but came to his senses and joined the clinic in late 2022. He is interested in all areas of General Medicine and aims to empower his patients to have a good understanding of their health care needs. He prides himself on good communication and providing clear advice based on current guidelines.
In his spare time, he is busy with his 3 girls, earning him multiple Best Dad awards.

Dr. Tim Simpson (MB.BS. FRACGP, Dip Obs.)

Independent GP

Tim moved to the hills area from Burra. Tim was the only GP in Burra and looked after that community and hospital for twelve years.
His experience in family medicine and emergency medicine is invaluable.
Tim spends some of his working life assisting specialists in the operating theatre.

Dr. Collette Richards (MB.BS, FRACGP)

Independent GP

Collette completed her registrar training with us some years ago. She also works within the Department of Defence. This role has taken her to many different parts of the world and has given her a vast range of medical experiences, her dedication seeing her awarded a Conspicuous Service Cross for outstanding devotion to duty in aviation medicine capability development and delivery.
Collette is a Designated Aviation Medical Examiner.

Dr Richards is not currently taking on any new patients.

Dr Emma King (MD, FRACGP, BSc (Hons), MLifeMed (Candidate)

Independent GP

Emma is a Hills resident and now considers herself a South Aussie having moved here over 10 years ago from WA. She has practised as a GP in rural and remote Australia and enjoys contributing to lives of her fellow community members.

She is interested in all areas of General Practice. She is completing a Masters in Lifestyle Medicine which is relevant to all chronic disease, and also has a specific interest in mental health and women’s health.

She enjoys spending time with family (mostly at skate parks and BMX tracks), yoga, cooking, travel and a good TV series

Dr Matt Piche (MD, FRACGP, MBBS, BSc, Adv Cert Skin Cancer Surgery, FARGP Surgery)

Independent GP

Matt has worked across a variety of cities; Adelaide, Hobart, Darwin and most recently Gove in the NT. Having provided many years of service in remote Australia, he has experience and interest in all areas of General Medicine. In addition to General Practice, Matt is currently working down in the Plains as a skin doctor and we have invited him to join the clinic to offer the same service here

All doctors are fellows of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and as such are committed to ongoing education. They each have a focus on preventative medicine – keeping you well.

Jessamy is the practice manager, one of our locals from the Hills. She brings in a wealth of experience and information for Primary Health care and looks after the Practice, our patients and doctors.

Marlene, Tanya, Di and Dee are our very friendly, capable and experienced receptionists.

Jacquie, Sally and Jeanette are our knowledgeable and skilled practice nurses.

We have a very happy work environment and we hope that spills over the front counter.
